Gleb Kaminer
Screenwriter / Producer

Gleb Kaminer was born in Baku, Azerbaijan (former USSR), and spent his first thirteen years being a kid and running on the streets, although most of his time went to swimming - a national swimming team for seven years. After the national conflict in Azerbaijan, in the 90s began, his parents fled to Israel where they settled as "new immigrants". There he graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree and soon enough was dispatched to military service. After demobilization, the fortune played his way and he and his wife ended up in Los Angeles. In his early teens Gleb thought about writing and even tried to write a novel, but his swimming practices occupied most of his time. Only in Los Angeles did he finally go back to writing. While writing, he was very intrigued by the idea of characterization of his own heroes and began impersonating them while writing and just fell in love with the process and his passion to acting was born.

Later in 2008, Gleb Kaminer founded his own production company to co-finance, produce and distribute films. His latest production of, "Ideal World" is due to release early next year. His creative production staff allows him to find, create and produce distribute quality films around the world.

As a child born in Baku he happened to discover a great interest for world cinema, acting and drama. All the change money he'd get from his parents and also from recycling bottles he'd spend on the movie theater tickets. He was fascinated by acting and movie making, but kept it a secret for quite a long time. At the age of 16 he suddenly started writing poems and short stories. In 1998 he entered the Academy of Labor and Social Relations. When in 1999 he became one of U.S. Green Card Lottery winners and him and his wife moved to Los Angeles. He graduated from the Academy later in 2005 majoring in Audit, but fortune had prepared something else for him. He has taken a small part as a backpacker in "Asleep At The Wheel On The Road To Nowhere", directed by Takae Hoshina later in 2002. To keep the balance between real life and life full of dreams for movies, he worked for several companies including FOX Entertainment and DDB mostly in finance and accounting. Meanwhile trying to plunge himself in the movie industry he attended Beverly Hills Adult School acting classes hosted by Ivan Borodin and later acquainted with new friends from the Michael Chekhov Studio where they spent hours talking about movies and movie life. He always dreamt about making his own movies; not just movies, but something with a great intellectual sense and among other ideas in 2006 the "Ideal World" story was born. In 2008, two years later after writing the story Saley asked his friend Gleb Kaminer if he could write a screenplay for "Ideal World" .Gleb reacted with passion and "Ideal World" story took a new loop.
